MANUFACTURING (Process) ENGINEER
This position will play a key role in coordinating the activities of new product designs being introduced into manufacturing. Continuous improvements on existing assembly processes will also be a key initiative. Other responsibilities are as follows: Ensure part routers, work orders, tooling, and fixturing are ready for manufacturing. Responsible for the part routers and manufacturing Bill of Materials. Monitor and track new assemblies being processed through the plant to ensure effectiveness of quality, cost and productivity. Work with manufacturing personnel to ensure a smooth process. Communicate manufacturing concerns to design engineering group and work closely with design engineering to ensure their master bill of material is correct. 5+ years manufacturing experience and 4 year Engineering Degree preferred.
QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN
This position will require strong blueprint reading skills, strong writing skills, and computer skills. A self-motivator and someone who doesn’t have to have detailed supervision is a must. This person will work closely with purchasing and engineering to share information and create improvement and also support the assembly operation. Essential functions include, but aren’t limited to: providing support in maintaining quality systems, reviewing and resolving internal quality issues, preparing and submitting quality paperwork, working with other quality staff, engineering and purchasing departments regarding 1st article parts and promoting continuous quality improvements while supporting a 5S mindset. A minimum of 2 years in the quality assurance environment is a must. Having an understanding of the processes of PPAP/Gage Certification/SPC knowledge a must. Must have machine shop experience. Foundry experience and knowledge of large castings a plus.
QUALITY TECHNICIAN (INSPECTOR)
This position involves inspecting incoming parts with many different types of checking methods. Some parts may be very large and require setting up to inspect. Experience in inspection and machining is a plus. Position will require working extra hours and be flexible in hours worked.
TECHNICIAN
This position will build complete crushers and component assemblies. They will also be responsible for tearing down crushing equipment and installing replacement parts, inspect assemblies for correct form, fit and function. Must be able to follow scopes of work, bill of materials, and blue prints required to assemble the product, operate cranes, air tools and hand tools. Must work safely and responsibly and be a part of a team.
WELDER
The welder will be required to complete all assigned tasks given to them by either the Shop Manager or the OEM Production Manager. These tasks will be performed on both the Raptor Rock Crushers and the crushers or components being repaired by service. Must be able to read blue prints and recognize weld symbols and their meanings. Must be capable of working independently. Welding experience required, mechanical ability a plus.
